Inspired by clouds and lagoons, CARLA PONTES’ CLOUD collection continues exploring three-dimensionality and detail to create depurated models with a distinctive urban versatility. Spring Summer 2017 collection relies on the brand own archive, keeping the connection with nature and artistic, and refining the shapes that stand out on the brand’s minimal and clear signature style. To embrace the abstract and realistic views of the theme, two unique and exclusive patterns were developed. The palette is made of light blues and sky pinks reflecting a vision from twilight atmosphere. The cuts are kept feminine, simple and clean in their approach to volume, overlaps and oversized silhouettes. Materials include structural cotton knit and soft denim fabric. With a special focus on the design process, CARLA PONTES combines craftsmanship reasoning, product design and industrial technology, resulting in an architectural feel and unconventional detailing, designed for the contemporary woman.
